Have you thought about becoming a foster parent? Great news! In order to become certified, you need to attend a 10-week class and for the first time ever, this class is being offered in Sheldon this April! The first step to sign up for the class is to go to www.iowakidsnet.com and click on “become a foster parent”. You need to attend a brief informational meeting before signing up for the class, and this link will show you where and when those informational meetings are being held. The class is filling up, but there are still spots open. This could be your opportunity to grow your family, provide a short-term home for a child in need, and share God’s love with a family in a tough situation. You will be changed and challenged by this experience.
Lunch in Lent: The Sheldon Ministerial Association invites all members of our community to join together for Lunch in Lent which will be hosted by and held in the fellowship hall at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon. March 15 – Pastor Jesse Walhoff, Living Water Community Church
